**I re-did this review after seeing Snow White and The Huntsman.


Mirror Mirror is a glossy modern-day take on the classic fairy tale Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. Upon seeing this, I thought it would just be some boring kid's movie, but I was pleasantly surprized about how beautiful the the set was, and all the funny stuff that made me laugh. (In a good way of course) This movie lacked some of the hopelessness from the original animated Snow White, and totally changed the story. Especially the ending when there was no poisoned apple, and no glass coffin, and NO KISS OF LIFE. But then again, this was more faithful to the movie than the later remake known as Snow White and The Huntsman, which neither followed the original, nor the Grimm version. Also, this had a more entertaining ending than Snow White and The Huntsman, which I wasn't expecting.
