So my friend, claiming this is the best anime that there is got me to see it. I couldn't tell the difference between this and one of the episodes on TV. I hated the TV series, whenever Pokemon showed i'd watch  it for around 10 mins, get bored, and flip the channel. Now when seeing this movie, I saw the first few mins, got bored, and almost slept. The ending was okay though, still hated it. I guess the Pokemon series is something you enjoy most when you are a kid, this particular show is most people's "childhood" I guess when I saw this movie, I was a bit too old for it, kindda corny. I was also bothered by all the cute pokemons cause they got really annoying at times. As a conclusion, if you don't watch the T.V. show or play the games, this movie is not for you. SKIP IT, I'm proud to say that this was NOT my childhood. Would be hilarious if it weren't so dreadfully cynical, Really? At least Pokemon: The First Movie had some sort of goal, this was just a feature-length anime commercial attempting to make children wanna start throwing away their money.
