Sucker Punch
SCORE: 100/100
For me, although the CGI was amazing, I felt like the plot was a bit too incomprehensible when I saw it in theaters. From my understanding, there is a girl named Babydoll, who has an evil stepfather that killed her little sister. She is then sent to a brothel/asylum of some sort, and is to be lobotomized in a week, upon her arrival. So basically, her and her gang of young women dressed very inappropriatley make a plan to escape, doing so she envisions 3 alternate realities to hide the pain, and to accomplish her goals easier. Then comes in all the entertaining fight-scenes with a killer soundtrack which was very entertaining at times. Other complains was the train-wreck of an ending, actually the director of this literally cut this movie up so much as to retain the PG-13 ratings to attract more viewers. Might I suggest to you, just watch the Un-cut Blu-Ray version, it follows a mostly different story-line which i won't spoil because I'd like you to see it for yourselves. Also, the ending makes so much more sense in the Un-cut, the fight scenes are longer, and they cut out a great musical number for some reason. Whenever I see this movie, I get the feeling that Zack Snyder has re-created every single cool music video that I've ever seen, and taken all these cool action sequences with breathaking visuals and summarized it into this movie.
