Looking for a very realistic, down to earth fairytale that has the right touch of syrupy melodramatic romance, that is for teens and has a nice ending? A Walk To Remember is for you! This movie tells the story of Landon Carter a highschool student who fell knee-deep into peer pressure and was taking the road to a not-so bright future, and Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of a local priest. Eventually, the two meet up when Landon is forced to audition in the school play and is assigned the lead, so he asks Jamie for help and she willingly invites him over. It sounds like a teenage lame fairytale but i must say this is NO "A Cinderella Story" this movie packs a punch here and there with gut-wrenching performances and a real love story. A Walk To Remember is a sweet hard-candy with a nice creamy treat in the middle.
