Elizabeth Olsen has recently WOW-ed the critics with her amazing performance in "Martha Marcy May Marlene" and Indie themed movie that got great reviews. But, can she WOW the critics again with a more main-stream movie in the horror genre? Silent house tells the story of a young girl and her father currently in their summer home which is being set to be sold, when they start to hear strange noises and see that there is something different with the house, they try to investigate. This is where all the scares happen. Silent House features great acting and true genuine scares that pushed me way back into the theater seat, not too many horror movies nowadays can do that. Also, this movie is filmed in real-time, as in the camera just keeps rolling the whole time 88 minutes straight! Most actors would have a big problem and crumble under the pressure, like memorizing a script, but did Elizabeth Olsen get affected by this? Definatley not! *No spoiler alert* I'll let you experience the stupid ending for yourself, i was expecting so much more! Though it ended abruptly, Silent House still packed some good scares, good acting, and a clear storyline! I recommend it.
