Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted

The story takes place right after the last movie when they are stuck in Africa, it shows that the Penguins have left them, and that they were getting homesick. So, the gang of animals device a plan to swim over to Monte Carlo and from there, slowly make their way back "home". One they arrive in Monte Carlo, they manage to enter the roof of a casino, but the roof gives way due to Gloria's weight, the people at the casino freak out and end up calling a professional policewoman (it is implied that her specialty is catching animals for a living). Madagascar 3 starts off well, I felt sort of engaged, and was able to connect to how happy the characters were as they accomplished their goals little by little, but slowly that feeling faded away when the good laughs started to turn into stupid cliches. Yes, it was entertaining but there was too much overblown dialogue to take it seriously, too much slapstick humor and unnecessary pick-up lines. Because of all this, I stopped taking the movie seriously in the middle, but by the circus act, i started to get engaged again, i loved the soundtrack and all the wonderful colors, especially when it's in 3D! But after the animals pulled these amazing stunts, the 'conclusion' comes, I was very disappointed with where the movie was going towards the end cause it honestly felt like a trainwreck.  Other than that, Madagascar 3 packs some good laughs and good moments, though it wouldn't hurt to just skip it.
